Hampton Inn Rawlins

Breakfast was actually pretty good and cooked fresh. Breakfast area was roomy. Only one person working the front desk in the evening and everyone seemed to arrive at once because of deteriorating weather but the employee handled it well. Beds were extremely comfortable.

The staff were exceptional. Jessica really went above and beyond. She is a great asset to the property. The day manager that took over the following day also. Sadly, I don't remember her name. She canceled her plans to come in and cover unexpectedly. Breakfast was very good, and the staff preparing it were friendly and efficient.

When the highway closed unexpectedly over Thanksgiving weekend, they unhesitatingly let me book with my 80 lb dog. Lifesaver! It sure beat having to sleep in the car in 15 degree temperatures. I paid a little extra (~$50) for having the dog along, and I was delighted to get to do so. Clean facility, helpful staff, and a great location.

The pool was nice. The rooms were clean. We also loved that this hotel was pet friendly. Our kitties were able to get out of their kennels to stretch. They loved sleeping on the chairs. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were comfy. It was located near the main road so we didn't have to go far to get back on the road and traveling.
